The Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) is a restricted union of the Universal Postal Union, a United Nations specialized agency. With its 32 member countries from the Asia-Pacific region generating around half of the global mail volume, APPU is one of the largest restricted unions of the UPU. Headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, the purpose of APPU is to extend, facilitate, and improve postal relations between member countries and to promote cooperation in the field of postal services.

In particular, APPU supports the interests of smaller and lower-income members through representation at Universal Postal Union meetings.
